D* held 3 plus weeks in psych ward due to insisting on living with dad

  1. December 28 2008 D* refuses to go to his mother, H*, after Christmas Holiday - again . H* refuses contact, so it is difficult to have a discussion or to make arrangements. Apparently H* told authorities that we were not calling.

  2. May 7, 2009 Authorities take 11 year old D* and put him in a psychiatric unit of the University of Geneva Hospital (HUG). The ward doctors confirm there is no diagnosis. Due to his age by law D* must be listened to and have his words acted on appropriately, yet at the ward he is denied access to an attorney, denied a conference with a judge, denied a convocation, and denied visitors including his father . He is completely isolated and locked in 24 by 7.

  3. May 13, 2009 A week has passed and D* is still locked in the ward. In this recording D* is just behind the locked doors. He is pleading with all his might for help and to have his father, while Dr. Clinton denies him. audio file       transcript

D* is told he may leave with H* at any time, but must remain indefinitely if he wants his father. H* is brought into the ward and D* locks himself in the restroom refusing to go with her, deciding it preferable to suffer in the ward. Given that psychiatrists worked on D* in isolation for a week and could not get him to go with H* it is now crystal clear that his refusal has substance.

  4. May 15, 2009 An article appears in the Geneva paper showing a picture of D* from three years ago giving the impression that he is much younger and in a different legal category than he actually is. The article mentions nothing of the holiday rather it says dad kidnapped D* from his mother. It quotes H* saying that D* has been brainwashed by his father as though D* were a hostage held by terrorists ("lavage de cerveau" - it is highlighted). article .

  5. May 16, 2009 H* runs into dad in a public place. She is not upset. She talks about winning and losing though it is a game. She explains that the brainwashing story is a fraud by saying that she knows D* loves his father for real. She does not want dad to see his son, but she wants him to give her money. H* leaves Geneva, but continues to insist that D* be held in the psych ward for continued "treatment". She has an order from Judge Jon Wisser in Texas that she may use any psychiatric treatment on D* that she cares to, and the psych ward doctors do as H* asks. audio file       transcript

  6. For two more weeks D* is "treated" at the HUG facility, D* puts signs up in the window and writes letters asking for help and for his father. It becomes apparent from his signs and letters that he is being drugged with psychotropics and exposed to classical conditioning.

  7. May 29, 2009 D* fights with the attendants in the ward to pass a letter through a cracked open ward door to an attorney assistant on the other side. The ward attendant tries to close the door on D*'s arm and prevent the letter from going through, but the attorney assistant gets the letter. The HUG legal department threatens to take suit against the attorney saying the assistant 'tried to break into the ward.' The letter says, "I can't see my dad and I just want to live with my dad."

  8. June 1, 2009 The ward doctors and the local child services explain that D*'s opinion is that he wants to leave with his mother. Given happy drugs he is mislead that he will see his dad again and leaves the psych ward. Dad is given a letter that he is being moved to another psychiatric ward in Austin Texas. D* is taken into the the Geneva airport by an unidentified man. The man and D* have a scuffle at the airport and they leave the airport without boarding. We have no further news until July 11.

  9. July 11, 2009 Round Rock Texas police officer Chris Wilson finds D* at H*'s house. D* blurts out to the officer in front of H* that he wants to live with his father.

  10. September 7, 2009 H* denies D* all contact to his father and father's family, now since May. D*'s 74 yr old Grandmother's cards, letters, and calls have gone unanswered. She goes to the hospital over the stress. audio file
