Biography

Mr. Lynch was a member of the processor team that put AMD on the map in
competing with Intel. As member of the Advanced Architecture Group at
AMD he was the technical manager for the first incarnation of the K7
floating-point unit which resulted in numerous patents for AMD. Mr.
Lynch was the technical manager of the K5 transcendental code project.
That project was finished on time despite a very short schedule,
resulted in numerous patents for AMD, and the end product received
stellar reviews including being called the most trustworthy numerics in
the industry. Mr. Lynch was a member of the architecture team at QST
which created the companies star product, a revolutionary new
multiprocessor architecture. Mr. Lynch founded the research group THS
which developed break through technology in computer networking and
security, and which has been the basis of a number of business plans. In
total, Mr. Lynch has contributed to the design of 12 microprocessors, is
inventor on 21 awarded U.S patents, and has published 8 academic
articles.
