Tom Lynch: "H*, this is Tom I sent you e-mail yesterday I didn't get a
reply for some reason, I wonder if you didn't get it for some reason. Anyway
call me back. Bye."
H* Lynch: "Hello?"
Tom Lynch: "H*, do you have something to tell me?
H* Lynch: "What? Do I have something to tell you?"
Tom Lynch: "Did you get my e-mail?"
H* Lynch: "No."
Tom Lynch: "Did you get my message earlier?"
H* Lynch: "No. What is this all about? Why are you calling me? We
already know the arrangements for D*. You are picking him up on
Wednesday. Right?"
Tom Lynch: "Ok, bye."
(Answering Machine)
Tom Lynch: "H*, I know you are there I just talked to you. I want to
know about D*'s health. He didn't sound good. I will dial back again."
Tom Lynch: "H* I'm calling again about D*'s health, you didn't call me about his trip to the doctor about his eye problem."
RRPD: "Round Rock Police Department, can I help you?"
Tom Lynch: "Hi I called a little while ago about my son and the eye
infection. And I was told you were going to send an officer out there and have
Mrs. Lynch call me."
RRPD: "And what was that address?"
Tom Lynch: "1304 Dragon Dr."
RRPD: "Sir was there a (inaudible) on the child?"
Tom Lynch: "Well did the officer ask if he had a fever?"
RRPD: "Hold on just a minute. Can you give me a call back number? Ok, just
wait for the phone an officer will call you back."
Tom Lynch: "Ok, I'll be waiting."
Tom Lynch: "Hello?"
Officer Floyd: "Hello Mr. Lynch, this is officer Floyd."
Tom Lynch: "It wasn't clear when I talked to the officer before My son you
saw him?"
Officer Floyd: "Yes I did"
Tom Lynch: "And did he have a fever?"
Officer Floyd: "I did not go in to check whether he had a fever or not,
but he was up playing I talked to him from the front door. His eyes were clear,
they weren't bloodshot. I got four kids of my own. I know how they act when
they have a fever, and they way he was acting he seemed perfectly fine."
Tom Lynch: "Well he told me he had a fever. Um did you talk to..."
Officer Floyd: "Here is the deal.."
Tom Lynch: "Excuse me?"
Officer Floyd: "Here is the deal with this we don't have a problem dropping
by and checking on your son making sure he is ok."
Tom Lynch: "Ok"
Officer Floyd: "When we do that we can't get involved in any civil issues
you may have as far as custody battles."
Tom Lynch: "I'm not asking you to do that. I'm only trying to.."
Officer Floyd: "I understand that. I just want to tell you that your son is
fine. He told me he felt fine."
Tom Lynch: "Well did you have a chance to talk to his mother? That is what
I was curious about."
Officer Floyd: "Yes I did"
Tom Lynch: "Did she say he was taking anything?"
Officer Floyd: "I did not ask her if she had given him any medication. He
is playing his eyes are clear he is not weak. He had a friend over. And She
told me what the deal was, that the son was playing and he didn't want to talk
to you.
Tom Lynch: "My son talked to me on the phone, but it is interesting. It is
the mother that won't talk to me. Did you ask her to call me?"
Officer Floyd: "I told her to call you."
Tom Lynch: "Ok"
Officer Floyd: "I told her I would call you myself and let you know the
child was ok."
Tom Lynch: "In lieu of her calling?"
Officer Floyd: "Not in lieu, but I said that the father would like you to
call him and that I would call him to let him know that the child was ok.
Tom Lynch: I'm just trying, see on Friday he was sent to the doctor with a
red eye and they didn't know if it was an infection or not. Now today he tells
me he has a fever, so I'm concerned.
Officer Floyd: "If he went to the doctor and the doctor looked at I'm sure
he would have been treated."
Tom Lynch: 'Well I spoke to him on Friday, and he wasn't certain. It might
been soap, and thats why it was red. And as far as treatment, I don't know what
has happened since Friday because she will never answer the phone."
Officer Floyd: "Your son is fine."
Tom Lynch: "Ok Thanks Bye."
Officer Floyd: "Ok Bye."
